NIGERIA – Passes Horrific Anti-Gay Law (News)
It’s barely been a month since Uganda officially passed the disgusting *Kill The Gays Law* (in December 2013) and yet our world is already witnessing another despicable anti-gay law passed in the motherland of Africa. Earlier this year, Nigeria’s President (Goodluck Jonathan) authorized Nigeria new *Jail The Gays* law, which carries a devastating impact against same-gender loving Nigerians.
- Any Nigerian Guilty Of Same-Sex Marriage Will Be Sentenced Up To 14 Years In Prison
- Any Nigerian Who Is Associated With ANY LGBT Organization Will Face Up To 10 Years In Prison
- Any Public Display Of Same Gender Love Is Punishable Up To 10 Years In Prison
In an attempt to justify these inhumane laws, President Goodluck Jonathan’s spokesman (Reuben Abatim) has stated..
“More than 90 percent of Nigerians are opposed to same-sex marriage. So, the law is in line with our cultural and religious beliefs as a people,”
Nigeria is just one of the many countries within Africa, that enforces these tortures laws against LGBT Africans..
